DURATION - 12 Months

Eligibility for Sound Engineering

Pre-requisites:

12th passing certificate or (equivalent education certificates)
Basic vocational proficiency in English and Hindi preferred.
Basic understanding of sound engineering is a plus.

Course Objectives

This comprehensive course is designed to teach you foundational sound engineering skills and take them to the next level. Through hands-on training and expert guidance, you will:

Master industry-standard tools like Pro Tools and Cubase Live for audio production.
In- Depth learning of Sound theory involving physics of sound, anatomy of the human ear, ear training and more.
Learn to operate, record, mix and master, in commercial large format console facilities.
Develop expertise in recording, mixing, and mastering with Waves, FabFilter, and iZotope plugins.
Command live sound environments with signal flow and mixing console knowledge with midas and digico consoles.
Learn multi channel recording of instruments like drums, ensemble and analog sound design for songs using boutique analog equipment from the like of API, NEVE, SSL, Shadow Hills, Manley Labs and many more.
Excel in post-production using Avid Pro tools for film, video, and games.
Learn to mix for films and OTT and introduction to Dolby ATMOS.
Cultivate creative sound design skills with Post-production assignments that span through ADR, Foley, Dialogue cleaning, Sound editing, Designing and more.
Learn to make your profile/portfolio for your showreel.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this course, you will:

Proficiency in Pro Tools, Cubase, and Dolby Atmos for audio production.
Mastery of Audio sciences with physics of sound, anatomy of the human ear, ear training and more.
Proficiency of Decibel Theory, Electronics and Loudspekaers.
Mastery of recording, mixing, and mastering with industry-leading consoles like SSL Consoles (Origin 32), Midas consoles, Avid S series Control Surface, and monitoring from Genelec, Neumann, and JBL.
Mastery of operating recording sessions in large format studios in India and abroad.
Mastering on LKFS (Loudnes unit K weighted loudness) and ITU (International telecommunication Union) standards, a must for broadcast industry professional (Television and OTT).
Basic of acoustic with setting up and understand Dolby standards for theatrical and nearfield ATMOS room.
Learn plugins from the likes of Waves, FabFilter, and iZotope.
Competence in live sound management with signal flow and mixing consoles.
Ability to create immersive soundscapes for film, video, and games with advanced sound designing skills.
