TAG had helped Apple and Dolby launch Spatial Audio in India and were the first studio to get trained by Apple Headquarters, California on the ropes around the system. Dolby Atmos is a future-ready technology and has now been properly integrated as an integral part of TAG's professional and student experience. TAG was then given the responsibility to give the first batch of Indian artists the experience of this amazing technology by getting their songs mixed in Dolby Atmos music.
DIVINE was one of the first artists to drop in to the studio to experience this new found technology. DIVINE as we all know, is one of the most iconic underground rappers in India to have made it to the big leagues. He was born and raised in Mumbai and started gaining popularity after the release of his song "Yeh Mera Bombay" in 2013. He broke through with the release of his song "Mere Gully Mein" in 2019, which featured Mumbai-based rapper Naezy. He has since released many hit songs and albums like Kohinoor, Gunehgar, etc. We remastered his entire album Kohinoor and a few more of his tracks into ATMOS Music. Overall the session was a huge success and everyone was really happy with the final outcome/product.
His mixing engineer Hanish Taneja has been a long time supporter of TAG and regularly conducts classes and workshops for our students. He has also been the mixing engineer for Vishal-Shekar, Meghdeep Bose, Akul and many more. DIVINE was blown away by the culture at TAG and how we had managed to merge professional work with student experiences.
